Well, it depends. However, if you’re really oily, read this post before you purchase.
So, after watching many videos on YouTube, reading a few articles, and reading comments on Amazon and MakeupAlley about Skindinavia’s The Makeup Finishing Spray Bridal decided to try it.
Since there were are a lot of good reviews on this makeup setting spray, I had high hope for this makeup finishing spray.

Skindinavia Bridal Spray Directions
For Best Result – Shake well. Apply over makeup. Spray 2-4 times in an “X” and “T” formation.
For my first trial, I followed the directions to the “T”. After my result was so disappointing I ditched the directions and went crazy spraying on my face for the other applications.
However, going crazy did not help prolong my makeup either. By going overboard, some product got on my hair and my hair wasn’t too happy.
It made my hair rough and dry. So make sure your hair is completely out-of-the-way before using this product.

This product has a clean and light scent; it disappears within seconds. If you tried “Model in a Bottle” you will appreciate the light and clean scent of this product.

- Specifically designed to resist the effects of excess moisture

- For all skin types
Specifically designed to resist the effects of excess moisture
It controlled moisture for the first 30 minutes, then my shine and grease took over and the makeup started transferring and disappearing.
The bridal mist helps keep makeup looking flawless and photo-ready
Initially, the bridal spray seals the makeup, but it does not control shine nor prevent the oil from penetrating through the makeup.
I hoped the product would live up to the hype but fell flat for me.
I tried this product for different occasions and environmental conditions also using different products hoping it would work, but it didn’t. However, this product really helps bring your makeup to life.
Your eyeshadow, blush, and highlighter colors will be more vibrant after using this spray. If you applied too much powder, it will correct it.
If you didn’t blend your makeup properly, it may correct it. This finishing spray works like Mac Fix Plus but creates a matte look instead of a dewy look.
Absorbs quickly and lasts for up to 16 hours
It does absorb quickly into the skin. The product sprays a fine mist, so after one minute the product completely disappears.
The mist from the spray does not ruin the makeup.
The spray nozzle on this makeup setting spray is fantastic. When the bottle is empty I will keep it to use for other products.
As for lasting for 16 hours – it didn’t even last more than 30 minutes on me.
After 30 minutes, I started blotting and reapplying translucent powder as I normally do.
I used the product with NARS Sheer Matte, and Covergirl Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation.
Both are matte foundations, but using this Skindinavia’s finishing spray with them didn’t improve their staying power.
I read this makeup setting spray works great with the Mac Studio Fix foundation, so I will give it a try to see if it works.
For all skin types
Not necessary for all skin types. It did not last on my oily skin. If you have normal skin, this might be your “holy grail” product.
If you love Mac Fix Plus, but you’re looking for a product to help your makeup last a little longer, and you don’t have oily skin, then you may consider giving this a try.
For oily girls, just beware, because this is not what it is made out to be. I will not repurchase because it did not help my oily skin situation the way I wanted it to.
After trying Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray Bridal, I know now without a doubt that I need to repurchase Model in the Bottle for my oily skin.
Final Thoughts On Skindinavia Bridal Spray
If you’re very oily, and you’re looking for a makeup finishing spray that seals your makeup and prevents it from transferring, this product might be disappointing.
I highly suggest buying the travel size to try before committing to a full-size bottle.
From Flat Makeup To Vibrant Makeup
If you don’t have oily skin, and you’re looking for a finishing spray to bring your makeup to life and take it from flat to vibrant, you will not be disappointed.
Oily Bride Beware
If you are an oily bride looking for products to keep your makeup flawless and in place without transferring, you might want to sample this makeup finishing spray first, as well as shop around for other options.
For your wedding day, you want the best.
You want to look flawless throughout the day, not just in the beginning.
