Yes, I canceled Sephora Play and BirchBox all at once but kept BoxyCharm and Ipsy here’s why.
Canceled Sephora Play and BirchBox
I had no major issues with any of these two beauty subscription services – they were alright and I was happy with them until I tried BoxyCharm. After I receive my first BoxyCharm I really didn’t see the need to continue with BirchBox, or Sephora Play. BoxyCharm offers full-size and deluxe size products worth over $100 for only $21 monthly. Resubscribe To Sephora Play
Sephora Play samples could be better considering Sephora sell some of the best products from some of the best brands but that’s hardly the case. Unfortunately, they seem to recycle samples too often. For example, if they distributed a sample but you didn’t receive it in your Sephora Play box don’t worry just wait because this sample will be redistributed in the coming months.
While this may be great for some, for me not so much because, by the time this product is redistributed by Sephora Play, I would have already received a sample from Ipsy, BirchBox or from Sephora themselves through their beauty insider program.
Who Sephora Play Is Good For
While Sephora Play no longer works for me I still believe that they are a great way to try products if you rarely shop at Sephora, you are interested in trying a few high-end brands and Sephora Play is the only beauty box you plan to subscribe to. However, there are other alternatives, like Birchbox and Ipsy.

Resubscribe To BirchBox
So that leaves Birchbox! Without a doubt, I would resubscribe to Birchbox. Birchbox seems to have the customer in mind when they were designing their beauty subscription service.
Birchbox Offers Box Customizations
BirchBox allows a few box customizations unlike Ipsy, Sephora Play, and BoxyCharm. Overall, if you are considering trying a beauty subscription service for only $10 per month I would highly recommend BirchBox.

Why I Didn’t Cancel Ipsy
I kept Ipsy mainly because of the damn cute bags they send mostly every month and the few really cool products they sent me so far. I will admit some months are crappy but the glam bag always seems to make up for it.

BoxyCharm Beauty Subscription Full-Size and Deluxe Size Products
BoxyCharm offers full-size products and deluxe size for only $21 and so far it’s been great. I was happy when they lifted the waitlist because I was trying to get on for months. If you’re tired of the mini samples and want t build your eyeshadow collection I highly recommend Boxy while the waitlist is lifted. Here are a few products I have received from BoxyCharm so far!
