Have A “Why” Mentality

It’s easy to memorize steps, but once the steps are memorized then what? Where do you go from here? Do you understand the ins and outs of why you do what you do? Knowing the reason for your procedure will not only help you get a better understanding but will also give you multiple new perspectives on how you can improve your abilities.

Practice, Practice, Practice

This is self-explanatory. The more you practice the better you’ll get at anything. However, make sure you’re consistent because the saying is true. “If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it”. Additionally, analyze yourself while practicing to better understand your strengths and weaknesses – this will help you determine the areas that require more practice.
